I should like to object in the strongest
possible terms about the proposed increase in numbers of AMs. As
has been openly discussed, the budget for the Assembly is
colossally and absurdly overspent so the additional number of
salaries and on costs makes no economic sense. So this should be
scrapped.
As for the incredibly onerous and scientifically unproven and
morally and economically damaging imposition of the 20mph I should
like the following points answered. First let me be clear. I have
no objection to 20mph in the vicinity of schools hospitals and
locations where vulnerable people could be injured or worse.
However the imposed limits in other areas and even in the areas
mentioned above that could have variable 20/30 limits controlled by
flashing signs as in other areas of UK successfully, and this would
have avoided the overwhelmingly onerous traffic conditions we now
face.
Your leaflet claimed 63% of Wales supports this measure. I suggest
that is not a real figure. That would require 2.2m people for the
statement to be true. Please publish the TRUE numbers.
The number of DSI according to Gov.Wales website bears no
resemblance to the projected lives saved over the next ten years.
The discrepancy appears to be a total fabrication. How many deaths
in the areas around schools etc have occurred over the last 10
years- we need to know specifics in relation to your own measure
for introducing this unbelievably dictatorial measure when, as you
can see from the response of drivers and former Labour voters, this
is unacceptable in a democratic country.
Explain the tender process. The ITT rules. The responses received
and the means by which the successful bid was won. Were alternative
options considered. Which ones?
When considering the dire state of the NHS the ambulance service
feeding poor families meals for schoolchildren and OAPs and the
number of deaths of homeless people on our streets, how can you
think that spending >£33.5m was a sound economic
decision.
What will it take from the overwhelming number of objections to
these measures to overturn your decisions.
Failing that how can we remove Mr Drakeford Mr Waters Mr Gethin, Ms
Morgan et al from any position within the Welsh Assembly.
Can we also request full details of budget spend and deficit from
the ONS or from the Office within the WA responsible for budgetary
matters.
You’ve stirred the dragon and dragons are not easily
assuaged.
